IMPORTANT NEWS, GUYS!

Frankenstorm is coming! ( aka Hurricane Sandy )

AAAHHHH! Frakenstorm is coming and we better be ready for some serious flooding. I’ve been researching about Frakenstorm online. 

I was surprised to see things like “worst in a century” and “massive storm that hasn’t been competed with for many generations”. I didn’t know that Frakenstorm was going to be that big!

 The big storm is going to be traveling north-east and can hit anywhere between Delaware to New York. Good thing is : we might have no school on Monday. 

Bad thing is : it’s a hurricane. 

Hope it doesn’t hit on Halloween… or my birthday!

Take cover, everyone! Hurricane Sandy is coming our way!!!!

Elections

Recently, there's been a lot of talk about the election in my class... or, I should say, there's been a lot of talk about the election in the school. Because, that's what's being discussed at the moment. For me, this topic has been very interesting. A lot of people  have been watching the debates. I have to say, they are very entertaining, even though I don't know what a lot of it means. So, I can't wait until November 6th, when the election takes place!!!!

T.Q.O.W. ( think question of the week ) : Who will win the election??? Hmmm... looks like we'll have to wait for some time to find out!!!

NOVEMBER 6TH, EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! Aren't you excited?????

HOOT by Carl Hiaasen

I recently read a book named HOOT by Carl Hiaasen, recommended by my teacher. I thought this was a great book. It's about a boy named Roy, a girl named Beatrice and a mysterious boy who has no name. 

This is a children's book....

It's very good. I love absolutely everything about this book. If you are a kid, I think you would enjoy this book a lot. And, let me just say, you won't understand why the title of the book is HOOT until you get pretty far into the book. I think Carl Hiaasen is a great author and I'm very eager to read more of his books in the future.

I just discovered that there is a movie for HOOT and maybe somehow, I can watch it.

Fall Arrives!

There's another thing that's been going around... Halloween's coming up! What are you going to be for Halloween? I was thinking I would be a vampiress. My friend and I have been the same thing for Halloween every single year!

Last year I was a football player. That was cool. 

I'm just really excited. Fall is my second favorite season... actually it's tied with summer. I don't know. 

I just absolutely love the colors of fall. They're so pretty. I also love fall because of Thanksgiving and.... my  birthday on November 1st! I can't wait. I hope I get all the present I can because I haven't had a birthday party the last two years.
